Young Leaf scores first goal in front of Dad. The crowd goes wild!

What a moment.

He's only played in 9 National Hockey League games so far, but Travis Dermott is quickly becoming a household name in Toronto.

The 21-year-old Leafs defenseman has been rather impressive since being given a shot to play on the main roster, and there is already talk suggesting that he won't be going back down to the minors anytime soon.

On Wednesday night Dermott once again showed why he belongs in the NHL, making an incredible play to create a turnover, making a nice pass, and then driving the net to finish off the play with the first goal of his NHL career.

The moment would be incredible under any circumstances but tonight Jim Dermott, Travis' dad, was in attendance to watch the game as a special father's trip for the Leafs. Needless to say dad's reaction to the goal was nothing short of magical, and the crowd in Toronto gave both son and father a standing ovation.

Truly one of the best moments of the season for the Maple Leafs.
