One National Hockey League franchise is having a real bad case of the Mondays.
According to a report from Thomas Willis of the Nashville Predators organization, 24-year-old Predators' forward Viktor Arvidsson has been injured during practice and, although we have very little information at this time, it sounds serious.
There has been no report thus far on how Arvidsson suffered the injury or what the exact nature of his injury is at this time, however what we do know is that he required two trainers to carry him off the ice and back to the locker room. Additionally, initial reports are also claiming that Arvidsson was unable to put any weight on one of his legs, although it's still unclear which leg was affected.
Arvidsson had a breakout season in 2016-2017 with 31 goals and 31 assists for 61 points, and he was off to another strong start this season with 13 goals and 14 assists for 27 points roughly halfway through the season. Any significant injury to the young Predators forward will be a huge blow to the team's offensive output.
More details to come as they become available.
