We're going to keep this one short, but it is oh-so sweet.

According to a breaking news report from Nashville Predators insider Adam Vingan of USA Today, the Predators have activated star forward Filip Forsberg off of injured reserve, clearing the way for him to make a return to the ice.

It's still unclear whether or not Forsberg will suit up tonight when the Predators face off against the Los Angeles Kings' but given, the timing of the move from the Preds, it seems fair to speculate that he will indeed hit the ice tonight.

While Forsberg is excited to return to the ice, he took the time to praise his teammates for the excellent job they have done fighting through injuries this season.

"Teams go through stuff like this up and down throughout the year,” Forsberg said as per USA Today. “We've been playing well through injuries. We played well when (Ellis) was hurt. ... Guys have played unbelievable now since I've been hurt. That proves that we're a really good team and it's not about one guy."

Potentially the best news of the season for the Predators.
